Mr. Leadbeater was appointed to serve as Vice-President of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. His term was 2014-2015.
Mr. Leadbeater was elected as a Member-at-Large to the Board of Directors for the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. His term was 2012-2014.
Mr. Leadbeater has served on the Board of Directors for the Brain Injury Association Quinte District where he liaised with the Belleville Bulls of the Ontario Hockey League to raise funds to provide education regarding concussions in sports.
Mr. Leadbeater has served on the Board of Directors for the Northumberland Lakeshore Hospice Association.
Mr. Leadbeater has been admitted to the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (SB. St. J.), “for services in carrying out humanitarian and charitable works for the relief of persons in sickness, distress, disability and suffering,” by order of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth the Second, and presented by the Governor General of Canada. He is also the recipient of the Canadian Armed Forces Decoration (CD) for service to his Country and the Sikorsky Helicopter Rescue Award, for a Life Saving Rescue in the North Atlantic, in December 1986.
Mr. Leadbeater will be spearheading our Virtual Reality-Based Occupational Therapy Program. He is skilled in the use of Microcurrent for numerous applications including Chronic Pain, Stress Management, Scar and Wound Management and Post-Concussion Syndrome Treatment. Phil invites all of his former clients to reach out should they be in need of his services.
